Storigami, a combination of storytelling and origami, emerged as the result of valuable academic research. This method was developed under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Ebru Hasibe Tanju Aslışen from Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, with the aim of supporting the holistic development of both children and adults. Prof. Dr. Ebru Hasibe TANJU ASLIŞEN, with her bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in Child Development, has proven her scientific authority and is recognized as one of the leading experts in her field.
Prof. Dr. Ebru Hasibe Tanju Aslışen is an academic recognized nationally and internationally, specializing in Child Development and Education. She earned her bachelor’s, master’s (1995), and doctoral (2004) degrees from Hacettepe University. In 2017, she received the title of Associate Professor, and she currently serves as Director of Polatlı Vocational School of Social Sciences and Head of the Department of Child Care and Youth Services at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University.
She is the developer of Storigami, an innovative educational method that combines storytelling and the art of origami. Behind this method lies a personal story inspired by her special bond with her late grandfather. Storigami not only supports the holistic development of children but also serves as a powerful tool for stress management and personal growth for adults.
